Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders including vendors, management, and OME team to explain complex engineering concepts and provide engineering solutions clearly.
- Develop engineering strategies to reduce costs, increase asset efficiency, and improve productivity. Focus on continuous improvement to enhance plant operational efficiency by reducing waste, improving cycle time, and optimizing the use of plant assets and equipment.
- Contribute to engineering projects, including new installations, upgrades, and expansions. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
- Deliver engineering solutions for plant asset maintenance throughout their lifecycle. Support OME teams during plant maintenance/shutdowns and resolve technical issues.
- Evaluate and prepare design modifications approved by change management or project teams. Prepare Design Packages for in-house modifications, MOCs, and perform supporting design calculations.
- Conduct plant visits to discuss operational analyzer issues with OME teams for resolving, upgrading, maintaining, and improving equipment performance.
- Participate in troubleshooting meetings to address equipment failures, system failures, and process abnormalities, collaborating with technicians and engineers.
- Research equipment, processes, and systems to troubleshoot performance issues. Regularly evaluate work processes to identify improvements.
- Investigate equipment and system failures, identify root causes, and recommend measures to prevent future incidents. Participate in Root Cause Analysis and report preparation.
- Update knowledge on industry best practices, document lessons learned, and identify emerging technologies through industry publications and professional development.
- Participate in Plant Acceptance Tests, validate modifications, assess risks, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Guide development and updating of analyzer standards, procedures, and objectives, implementing solutions as per standards or manuals.
- Support operations and maintenance during shutdowns or emergencies by providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to equipment. Review analyzer failure reports and shutdown incidents for engineering recommendations.
- Conduct engineering studies to improve plant integrity and reduce costs, guiding the preparation of design documents, calculations, and procedures.
- Support analyzer asset maintenance strategies, including planning and updating maintenance tasks and work instructions.
- Evaluate engineering proposals to ensure compliance with YAREF standards and support business priorities like HSE, reliability, and profitability.
- Adhere to safety and environmental policies per YASREF Standards. Participate in HSE activities such as near-miss reporting and safety suggestions.

Work Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or computer engineering or equivalent.
