Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced MES Engineer specializing in Siemens Opcenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences manufacturing and a passion for ensuring the integrity and performance of critical systems. This is a long-term opportunity based in the Los Angeles area, with all travel expenses covered for candidates residing outside of the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain MES solutions using Siemens OpsCenter in life sciences manufacturing environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address the unique requirements of each project.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Siemens OpsCenter to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during system upgrades, expansions, and other modifications.
  • Document all activities, processes, and system changes in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members on MES best practices and Siemens OpsCenter functionalities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • Recipe authoring with Simatic IT EBR, Siemens OpsCenter.
  • Proven experience as an MES Engineer with a focus on Siemens OpCenter in life sciences manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of MES concepts, practices, and regulatory requirements in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
