Engagement Manager Job Description

As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients. Client retention and satisfaction, along with growing new business opportunities within existing clients, are prerequisites for this role. You will work with clients to understand business problems and recommend optimal solutions.

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for client delivery on one or multiple projects, including project planning, delivery, making recommendations, obtaining client buy-in, and ensuring closure of all work streams independently, adhering to internal quality standards and within agreed timelines. You will work directly with clients and practice partners. Additionally, you will mentor your team and actively lead internal organizational and business development initiatives.

This role requires travel to client locations in Saudi Arabia and UAE on an as-needed basis, up to 1-2 weeks per month.

Expectations
  1. Work closely with clients to identify, understand, and meet their needs and pain points.
  2. Nurture ongoing relationships with clients throughout the project cycle.
  3. Act as a thought partner to clients, outlining innovative solutions and driving organizational change.
  4. Interact with CXO-level audiences and deliver impactful presentations and workshops.
  5. Design and execute solutions tailored to client needs.
  6. Lead multiple projects and solve high-complexity client problems.
  7. Deliver high-impact business proposals and generate new business opportunities for the firm.
  8. Manage the performance and development of consultants on the project.
  9. Guide teams in creating high-quality deliverables.
  10. Lead internal initiatives on organizational development.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
  12. Travel and stay in Saudi Arabia and UAE for up to 1-2 weeks per month, as required.
Requirements: Experience and Skill Set
  1. Must be a native Arabic speaker (for expatriate candidates only).
  2. Experience with the Saudi market.
  3. Transferable Residency permit (for expatriate candidates).
  4. Full-time Graduate or Post-Graduate degree.
  5. Full-time MBA/PGDM from a Tier 1 B-school and/or B.Tech./B.E. from a Tier 1 undergrad school or Chartered Accountant qualification.
  6. Professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, CFA) are an added advantage.
  7. Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years of mandatory consulting experience.
  8. In-depth knowledge of 1-2 industry domains.
  9. Exposure to strategy development and implementation, process improvement, performance measurement, and digital transformation.
  10. Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
  11. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  12. Detail-oriented and goal-focused.
  13. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  14. Experience managing and handling team performance.
