Eligibility Analyst

This is a broad and general role that involves a range of compliance activities, with opportunities to specialize as the role develops. The compliance officer will support the Middle East region, gaining exposure to various products and business units. You will help deliver the compliance monitoring program to ensure the business meets regulatory requirements and that all policies, procedures, and systems align with the company's compliance plan.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and coordinate operational activities to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
2. Provide support and guidance to regional and international teams on Middle East compliance queries and requirements.
3. Gather and validate compliance data regularly based on agreed levels.
4. Maintain an issue log to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvements.
5. Conduct periodic internal audits, identify problem areas, and develop strategies to maintain compliance.
6. Stay updated with regulatory changes and provide inter-departmental training when necessary.
7. Partner closely with regional sales and client management teams to advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
8. Register benefit plans on government portals.
9. Assist in the preparation and management of client and broker contracts.
10. Help teams identify compliance risks, gather missing information, and prevent non-compliance cases.
11. Monitor and report on adherence to compliance practices across the business.
12. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Experience & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and their practical application.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Middle East insurance market and its associated risks.
