Qualifications

Job description

Seeking a dedicated and passionate Homeroom Teacher to join our international team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and pastoral care to a class of students in the early years or primary section. The Homeroom Teacher plays a central role in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development within a nurturing, inclusive, and culturally respectful learning environment.

Important skills:

Teaching & Learning:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects (English, Maths, Science, Global Perspectives) according to the school’s curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including EAL students.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform instruction.
  • Integrate technology and active learning strategies into daily teaching.
  • Maintain a well-organized, stimulating, and student-centered classroom environment.
Pastoral Care & Classroom Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents regarding day-to-day academic and behavioral matters.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, collaboration, and responsibility.
  • Monitor student wellbeing and provide support or referrals when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and incident reports.

Specific qualifications required for this role:

  • Teaching Credential/License
  • TESL/TEFL Diploma Level
  • Other Certification

Additional requirements for this role:

  • Have experience in British curriculum - Cambridge
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in education, QTS, and PGCE
  • Experience not less than 5 - 7 years
  • Having previous experience in KSA or GCC countries is a plus
  • Flexible to work abroad and adapt to a new environment
