Qualifications

Contract : 2 Years

Job Purpose :

To maintain and restore EFCC5 plant electrical equipment to achieve optimal plant availability with minimum maintenance cost. Perform both planned and unplanned electrical maintenance activities, including installing, maintaining, adjusting, calibrating, and testing equipment, while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment, machinery parts, and insulation to meet production requirements.

Job Responsibilities :

Maintenance Technical Activities:

  • Execute electrical maintenance activities and follow inspection plans to ensure equipment availability.
  • Implement electrical maintenance programs to ensure smooth plant operation, maintain healthy equipment conditions, and minimize maintenance costs.
  • Observe and inspect electrical equipment to identify defects/issues to ensure functionality and compliance with operating standards.
  • Assess defects/issues and decide whether to repair or replace equipment to optimize plant functionality.
  • Perform temporary and/or permanent repairs as needed to ensure equipment compliance with operating procedures.
  • Carry out emergency and unscheduled repairs to ensure equipment availability.
  • Conduct regular calibration of equipment per ISO9001 standards, maintaining plant operations and equipment reliability.
  • Inspect maintenance tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate with production and mechanical maintenance personnel to execute electrical maintenance plans without affecting production.
  • Data Recording and Analysis:
  • Record inspection results, perform data analysis as needed, and ensure plant and equipment data is available for analysis.
  • Prepare regular and special reports as required to assist in data analysis and optimize performance.

Reporting:

  • Report abnormal observations to senior colleagues to ensure appropriate action or planning for future maintenance.
  • Ensure proper shift handovers, providing full and clear information on maintenance/repair activities.
  • Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports for department requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment:

Follow all relevant safety, health, and environmental procedures, reporting any concerns or incidents to ensure a safe work environment and meet corporate safety objectives.

Policies, Processes, and Procedures:

  • Adhere to relevant policies, processes, and procedures in the EFCC5 Electrical Section to ensure controlled and effective work.

Related Assignments:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications :Technical School Graduate or Electrical/Electronic Diploma.

Minimum Experience : 2-4 years of relevant work experience in EFCC5 plant and material handling system.

Job Specific Skills :

  • Technical awareness of measuring instruments and electrical equipment used in EFCC5 and its material handling systems.
  • Knowledge of plant layout, equipment, and EFCC5 systems.
  • Understanding of operating standards and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
