Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and service-driven Electrician to join the Engineering team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of all electrical systems across the property, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Four Seasons' luxury standards. You will play a critical role in supporting the resort s setup during the pre-opening phase and ensuring operational excellence after opening.
What You Will Do
Assist in inspecting and verifying the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment during the pre-opening phase.
Review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to support technical handovers and system setup.
Identify and report any electrical defects, perform snagging, and support the completion of punch lists with contractors and consultants.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, switchboards, panels, lighting fixtures, emergency systems, and guestroom equipment.
Carry out preventive maintenance on all electrical systems, including distribution boards, UPS, emergency generators, elevators, fire alarm systems, and kitchen equipment.
Respond quickly and efficiently to electrical breakdowns, guest service requests, and urgent maintenance calls.
Ensure energy conservation practices are followed and assist in monitoring electrical usage to identify efficiency opportunities.
Maintain accurate logs and records of repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and parts replacements.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, health and safety standards, and Four Seasons procedures.
Assist in setting up the engineering workshop, inventory of electrical spare parts, and equipment storage.
Participate in ongoing training programs related to safety procedures, fire life safety systems, and emergency preparedness.
Support the resort during emergencies, system outages, or major electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and operations.
What You Bring
A diploma, certification, or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within luxury hospitality, facilities management, or high-end residential operations.
Strong understanding of electrical systems including low voltage, emergency systems, kitchen equipment, and energy management systems.
Experience working with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Good communication skills, a team-player attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional internal service.
Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
