Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out testing and tagging.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Assist in any after-hour emergencies as required.
• Maintain records and documentation associated with all work undertaken.

What we need from you

You will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience and be familiar with Microsoft Office and reporting tools. Previous exposure to a 5-star hotel environment is advantageous; alternatively, you would be excited to utilize your strong technical skills in a new, diverse, and challenging environment.
