Job description

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Location: Saudi Arabia

Year of Experience: Minimum 5 years

Salary: 2800 SAR gross + FAT

Working hours: 8 hours/ day, 6 days/week

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in petrochemical or oil industry settings.
  2. Ensure electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  4. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to plan and execute electrical projects.
  6. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  7. Perform system upgrades and implement modifications as required.
  8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Required skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in the petrochemical or oil industry.

Technical Skills:
  1. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, high voltage, and control systems.
  2. Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  3. Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and control systems.
  4. Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific safety protocols and regulations.
  5. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
  6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  7. Documentation: Proficient in maintaining accurate work logs, reports, and maintenance records.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with SABIC Affiliates: Previous experience working with SABIC or its affiliated companies is highly advantageous.
  2. Certifications: Relevant electrical certifications or training, such as a recognized electrical engineering degree or certification.
  3. Technical Software: Familiarity with industry-specific software for maintenance management or automation systems.
