Apt Resources is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician specializing in Generator Maintenance and Installation to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of generators, ensuring they operate effectively and reliably. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Handle electrical systems, wiring, and control panels for generator sets.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in the workshop and on-site.
• Install and commission new generator sets based on assigned schedules.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Attend on-call service requests outside normal working hours and complete service reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying strictly with safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of generator systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Physically able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift medium to heavy objects regularly.
• Good English communication skills.
