We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrical Technician to support the electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment in a stone wool manufacturing facility. The technician will be responsible for ensuring continuous and safe operation of all electrical systems and supporting automation and control systems across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, lighting, and power distribution systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production equipment such as melting furnaces, spinners, forming machines, conveyor systems, curing ovens, and cutting machines.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Carry out regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and update documentation.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in heavy manufacturing or process industries.
Hands-on experience with motors, starters, PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley or equivalent), and VFDs.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of industrial safety practices.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
