Use of standard instrument to check voltage, amperage, speed, rotation and vibration.
Troubleshooting and repair of ground faults.
Repair of electrical motors up to 500 HP including replacement of bearings and seals, installation of motor and connection of starters and circuits.
Maintenance of battery standby systems/inverters.
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret wiring schematics, troubleshoot and repair.
Installation of conduit, enclosures, wiring, connections and controls up to 480V for new construction.
Ability to repair and maintain equipment including but not limited to:
Cathodic protection system.
Automatic overhead doors.
Ability to splice cables up to 500CFM.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics for power distribution system up to 13.8KV.
Ability to work at elevated heights.
Carry out equipment preventive maintenance checks assigned, following established procedure, and recording all results.
Understand and apply the plant safety standard and standard maintenance procedure when performing work. Should have Work permit receiver as per SADARA work permit system.
Fully familiar with the SHE critical device requirements for defeat.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Knowledge of English language. Speak, read and write.
Graduate with a 2-year diploma in Industrial Trade training certificate from a recognized institution.
Experience certificate from a process and construction company.
Minimum 6-8 years work experience as an electrician in a refinery or petrochemical plant.
