Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Power Systems Projects and Technical Support Department (P&TSD). This department provides top-tier power engineering services to internal and external clients, leveraging a skilled workforce and advanced technologies.

Your primary role will be to lead the execution of capital projects, ensuring that design, procurement, construction, and project completion meet objectives and contractual requirements, including schedule, cost, HSE, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and recommend continuous improvement solutions for installations or modifications to enhance facilities and standardization. Estimate costs, prepare justifications, and manage expenditure requests.
• Develop plans, schedules, and provide work direction for design, processes, reports, and related data, ensuring efficiency and conformance to objectives.
• Define scope and technology items, leading the implementation and operation of solutions in the field.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, safety, or quality throughout all project phases.
• Review the work of junior engineers and coordinate with design and execution contractors on agreements and change orders.
• Ensure safety measures are strictly followed during project execution.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to achieve them.
• Review project reports and attend meetings related to progress, stakeholders, design review, and value improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience; Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer certification preferred. Formal project management qualification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of project phases, engineering procedures, bidding, procurement, construction, and best practices.
• Ability to work in multinational teams and relocate to various locations, including remote areas.
