Job description

We are looking for an Electrical HV Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Job Details

• Location: Rabigh, Saudi Arabia
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 13-month contract (renewable based on project needs)
• Work Schedule: 8 hours/day - 6 days/week
• Assignment Type: Single status

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in constructing industrial facilities
• Experience with Solar PV projects over 300 MW
• Completed at least two construction projects
• Knowledge of international standards and best practices for construction
• Understanding of environmental legislation/regulations and industry practices related to construction
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• For candidates residing in KSA, a transferable Iqama is required
• Experience in solar or utility-scale energy projects is preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Manage HV construction activities in line with EPC contracts, subcontracts, and project agreements
• Ensure compliance with all site HSE rules and regulations during HV construction
• Ensure work execution complies with approved method statements, risk analyses, and regulations
• Supervise the site team to monitor construction progress, quality, and commissioning activities until COD, including inspection, punch list clearing, and certification
• Participate in weekly site meetings and technical discussions with the EPC contractor
• Monitor and verify the EPC contractor’s work across disciplines to ensure timely delivery and proper invoicing
• Verify the site logbook maintained by the EPC contractor
• Coordinate with schedule engineers to track progress and identify opportunities for schedule optimization
• Analyze work progress, recommend improvements, and evaluate recovery plans for delayed activities
• Assist in preparing progress reports in collaboration with the schedule engineer
