Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Engineers – Low Current Systems to join a leading construction and engineering firm in Riyadh. This is an office-based role focused on the design review and coordination of ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and low current systems across large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design review of low current systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure proper system integration.
• Review and comment on technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals related to ELV / low current systems.
• Utilize Navisworks and BIM tools for design coordination, clash detection, and model reviews.
• Participate in value engineering, system optimization, and constructability reviews.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices and standards in low current system design and documentation.
• Support project teams with technical input during tendering, procurement, and execution planning phases.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide clear technical guidance to stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience specifically in low current systems within the construction or engineering sector.

Strong knowledge of ELV systems including BMS, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, IPTV, and Structured Cabling.

Proven experience in design review and coordination using Navisworks and BIM platforms .

In-depth understanding of international codes and standards for low current systems.

Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
