We are actively seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer Inspector to support ongoing Aramco substation projects. The candidate must have solid experience in inspection and quality control for electrical works, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of electrical works in substations as per Aramco codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor and verify contractor compliance through inspections, audits, and testing procedures.
- Review electrical drawings, material submittals, and ensure installation matches approved specifications.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit inspection records, reports, and QA/QC documentation.
- Conduct site walkthroughs, testing & commissioning inspections, and ensure all work meets quality and safety requirements.
- Liaise with Aramco representatives for inspections, approvals, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams, project engineers, and contractors to resolve electrical quality issues.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of inspection experience in Aramco projects, with proven expertise in electrical substations.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Strong knowledge of Aramco standards, safety practices, and quality procedures.
- Previous or valid Aramco approval/certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in QA/QC processes and ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Number or valid Aramco Electrical Inspector approval.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and inspection of substation equipment (switchgear, transformers, protection systems, etc.).
- Familiarity with NDT, FAT, and SAT procedures for electrical systems.
- Knowledge of ISO, NEC, and IEC standards relevant to substation works.
