As we consider the future of infrastructure globally and in the GCC, we are very enthusiastic about the future of infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We are currently considering candidates with aviation, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.

Under the guidance of the Lead Electrical Engineer, the graduate will assist in reviewing technical documents, monitoring progress of contractors and consultants, tracking approvals, and coordinating design interfaces with other disciplines. This role is an opportunity to gain experience in project management consultancy (PMC) on a high-profile national infrastructure program.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking and organizing review comments, responses, and approvals using Bechtel’s document control and review systems.
  • Support coordination activities across multiple contracts and disciplines, ensuring that interface points (civil, mechanical, telecom, etc.) are addressed in the design.
  • Participate in site walks and construction coordination meetings to gain exposure to field engineering practices.
  • Assist in monitoring the progress of the design and construction packages and updating logs or trackers under the guidance of the Lead Engineer.
  • Help consolidate technical data and support the preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support coordination with stakeholders (e.g., SEC, NG, municipal authorities) by assisting in preparing documentation, presentations, and technical inputs.
  • Participate in quality and compliance reviews and help log or track issues such as RFIs, NCRs, or engineering queries.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (graduated within the last 12 months).
  • Display strong communication skills, comfortable working both independently and in a team environment on a variety of tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to work full-time on a project-based assignment in Riyadh.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with MV/LV electrical systems, grounding, lighting, and fire alarm principles.
  • Basic awareness of ICT and ELV systems commonly used in infrastructure projects, such as structured cabling, surveillance, access control, and smart city applications.
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycle phases: design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Enthusiastic to learn and apply project management systems and tools used in PMC environments.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team environment.
