Leading company in the energy sector is seeking an Electrical Engineer who specializes in Motors and Generators to join the company's Consulting Services Department (CSD), Electrical Engineering Division (EED).

EED is responsible for providing technical support in the development of new processes, equipment or techniques, facility designs, and solutions to unusual operating and maintenance problems.

Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will initiate or conduct special studies to improve facilities or operations, provide specialized technical services in recognized engineering fields, and act as a consultant on complex engineering issues related to rotating electrical machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering consultations in Motors & Generators to field operations such as refineries, gas plants, and terminals.
• Develop company procedures and best practices in the area of expertise.
• Review engineering design packages for capital projects and participate in project review meetings locally and internationally as needed.
• Introduce new technologies to enhance company profitability and productivity.
• Represent the company in dealings with vendors, manufacturers, and design firms requiring expert engineering advice.
• Conduct peer reviews of technical reports, project designs, technology reports, and engineering standards.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers within the company.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; a Master's or advanced professional degree is highly desirable.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or registration is highly desirable.
• At least 20 years of professional experience, including responsibilities for sizing, construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting high voltage electrical machines, and factory acceptance testing.
• Willingness to relocate to KSA.
