Job summary

A leading company in the food industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance and ensure efficiency in production processes. The role involves dealing with PLC programs, SCADA, and electrical spare parts management. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a strong background in FMCG or similar industries.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Preferably previous experience in the food industry.
• FMCG background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of production line and its accessories.
• Supervise electrical measurements of machines periodically.
• Participate in the installations, whether replacement or renewal.

Job description

Position Purpose

Follow up on the electrical measurements of the machines continuously to maintain and reduce failures, participate in the development of maintenance plans, and follow up on the electrical spare parts to ensure their availability.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the production line

• Assist in the maintenance of the production line and its accessories.
• Deal with PLC programs, SCADA, and Variable Frequency Drivers. And also make the necessary changes that comply with work requirements.
• Make the necessary maintenance to the control panels.
• Implementation of GMP rules.

Planning and spare parts

• Assist in the development of maintenance plans.
• Setting up electrical maintenance programs for transformers, medium and low voltage rooms, and panels.
• Follow up on electrical spare parts for machines and order the required spare parts.

New Installations

• Supervise and follow up electrical measurements of machines periodically.
• Supervise the implementation of new panels.
• Participate in the installations whether replacement or renewal.

Maintain the production line

• Assist in the maintenance of the production line and its accessories.
• Deal with PLC programs, SCADA, and Variable Frequency Drivers. And also make the necessary changes that comply with work requirements.
• Make the necessary maintenance to the control panels.
• Implementation of GMP rules.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelors in electrical engineering.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferable.
• Have an FMCG background
