Electrical Engineer Jobs in Saudi Arabia

Overview: Responsible for managing Electrical personnel, overseeing technical documentation, and ensuring successful execution of engineering tasks in Oil and Gas projects. Lead review and approval of electrical designs, ensure compliance with standards, and support project delivery while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems; conduct risk assessments; supervise installations; and ensure quality and compliance in projects, including large-scale infrastructure and MEP contexts.
• Review electrical designs, oversee contractor coordination, and manage project documentation to ensure technical accuracy and standards compliance.
• Provide on-site supervision, technical support, and coordination with utility providers; ensure safety and adherence to codes and standards.
• Lead electrical design processes, generate technical drawings, and prepare testing procedures for commissioning and startup activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Stay updated with electrical engineering technologies and best practices; require proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
• Experience in oil and gas projects and/or large-scale infrastructure is preferred; ability to mobilize immediately may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Proficiency in electrical design software; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit (up to Level of Development 500), and related tools.
• Experience in design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems; knowledge of Low Voltage systems a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in Saudi Arabia and available for on-site work as needed; local candidates with valid Iqama are preferred.
