A major financial institution in Saudi Arabia seeks an Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical systems maintenance in the refining sector. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preparing work schedules, and leading team efforts on complex electrical issues. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and leadership skills, with knowledge of petrochemical standards.
The candidates will be responsible for:
• Troubleshoot, support maintenance execution, testing and project commissioning, electrical systems recovery, and any necessary field activities to keep the system running and reliable.
• Prepare schedules of work and provides direction for the preparation of conceptual and/or basic designs of electrical and industrial facilities.
• Lead engineering data analysis pertinent to complex electrical problems concerning technical issues, scope, economic value, long-range planning, and budgetary considerations in the in-charged area to support the requirement of entire plant-related activities, including high voltage and low voltage.
• Execute studies and analysis for existing electrical equipment.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions from it.
• Apply RCM, RCA, FMECA, PMO, and any tools or methodology for reliability analysis and management of electrical assets.
• Evaluate the current situation/condition and look for potential improvement opportunities and utilize them to enhance the electrical equipment/plant reliability.
• Recommend new modifications to improve existing facilities. Strive for improvement and suggest new ideas and methods for achieving better results.
• Demonstrate ability to translate electrical improvement techniques into engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability.
• Develop technical reports and deliver them to the executive management when necessary.
• Conduct lessons learned sessions, lead change management and process implementation of changes, prepare scope of work for Turnaround, develop work schedules, and shutdown execution strategies.
• Deliver training on various technical topics to engineer, maintenance, and system operation staff.
