Job description

We are seeking a Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants or (RO) systems within industrial facilities.

This role requires a highly skilled and technically driven professional capable of overseeing and executing maintenance activities on a range of low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems in WWTP and RO units.
• Troubleshoot and maintain LV & MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs, circuit breakers, soft starters, VFDs, MCCs, and UPS systems.
• Manage and optimize control systems including PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation related to water treatment operations.
• Diagnose faults and ensure rapid recovery of critical systems to minimize downtime.
• Supervise and train junior technicians and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical and process teams to align maintenance with plant performance goals.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and tracking of maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within industrial wastewater treatment and RO plants.
• Strong knowledge in power distribution systems, automation, and industrial control panels.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems in a 24/7 operational facility.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, electrical codes, and standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination.
• CMMS or maintenance planning experience is a plus.
