Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for assessing the integrity and reliability of refinery E&I equipment and work processes. Monitoring the implementation of reliability improvement strategies. Providing technical guidance and assessments to the team and other departments. Collecting reliability data to maintain KPI consistency. Ensuring that equipment performs effectively and efficiently (current vs. design and capacity).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Review and develop E & I equipment strategies, working within a cross-functional team to define strategies based on performance requirements and OEM specifications. Evaluate the need for changes in E & I equipment strategies.
  2. Evaluate E & I equipment to maintain or increase reliability through analysis of current and historical data and trends.
  3. Participate in root cause analysis and guide local plant and contractor personnel to ensure safe and effective work execution.
  4. Assist in preparing work schedules, job plans, PM frequencies, optimization, and spare parts reviews.
  5. Ensure all unit equipment documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date (data & spec sheets).
  6. Review and update E & I procedures.
  7. Attend MOC meetings and serve as the link between project and maintenance departments.
  8. Manage the bad actor process for the assigned area and prepare MTPF reports for monthly reliability meetings.
