Your Job
Guardian Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Al Jubail plant in Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will focus on maintaining safe and reliable operations through designing and executing electrical strategies and projects aimed at managing risk, improving performance, and ensuring the reliability of electrical systems across the facility, including infrastructure and production assets.

Our site employs over 250 staff and produces Float Glass, Vacuum Coating Glass, and Wet Coating Glass.
What You Will Do
• Provide electrical engineering support to operations and maintenance teams to analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and assess system capabilities.
• Promote a safety culture by addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors, and suggesting improvements.
• Execute capital projects, including upgrades to plant systems and process equipment, aligning with transformation priorities.
• Collaborate with engineers and departments to develop electrical process improvements and adopt new technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Lead projects focused on continuous improvement, equipment obsolescence, and reliability enhancements.
• Maintain documentation for electrical systems, such as schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Research and identify industry-leading technologies that could benefit operations.
• Share technological knowledge with the operations team.
• Use your electrical power and control skills to support continuous process operations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Practical experience in industrial environments.
• Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and P&ID.
• Experience with PCS 7 PLC, WinCC Explorer, and TIA Portal.
• Strong understanding of Profibus and industrial network systems.
• Familiarity with VFDs from Siemens, ABB, Danfoss, especially in Profibus and Profinet.
• Hands-on experience in automation within continuous process plants.
• Proven project leadership experience.
• Troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment and facility systems like conveyors, air compressors, cooling towers, R/O & DI plants, generators, motors, switchgears, and interlocking systems in PLC-controlled environments.
• Good communication skills in English.
What Will Put You Ahead
• Experience with AutoCAD, E-plan, or similar CAD software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of power distribution, mechanical systems, and machine design.
