Job description

We’re Hiring: Electrical Design Engineer (Medium Voltage)

Join our Engineering team and play a key role in designing medium-voltage (up to 36 kV) switchgear systems for industrial and infrastructure projects. If you’re passionate about electrical design, standards compliance, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical designs for MV switchgear, including single line diagrams, wiring schematics, GA drawings, and bills of materials
• Select and specify electrical components such as circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, relays, and protection devices
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and applicable standards
• Collaborate with mechanical, production, and procurement teams to support manufacturing and project execution
• Provide engineering support during FAT, installation, and commissioning
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in MV switchgear design engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software
• Strong knowledge of power system protection, control schemes, and interlocking logic
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience with industrial or utility projects and international standards
• Exposure to Aramco projects or major OEM switchgear products is an advantage
