SAUDCONSULT is currently recruiting for an ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER with experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, building, and infrastructure sectors. This position is on the direct payroll of SaudConsult, with the job location anywhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications:

• B. Tech/B. Eng in Electrical Engineering
• 8-15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
• Proven capability as an Electrical Design Engineer in an engineering design company for at least 8 years

Responsibilities:

• Perform design and analysis calculations related to electrical works such as low voltage distribution networks, medium and high voltage networks, substations, pump stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, industrial plant electrification, standby power systems, AC/DC power systems, protection and controls, and ELV systems using appropriate engineering standards and formulas.
• Develop general arrangements, layouts, single line diagrams, protection diagrams, and schematic diagrams.
• Experience with Pre-FEED, DBSP development, FEED, bid clarifications, detailed engineering, and project execution.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards, IEC, BS, IEEE, and NEC standards.
• Manage project activities from conceptualization through to execution, including technical specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B. Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in ETAP, Dialux, and spreadsheet tools for cable sizing.
