Job Purpose
To sustain a smooth production process by ensuring efficient operation and availability of machinery and equipment. Responsible for maintaining and resolving issues related to machines used in the manufacturing of EV components, thereby ensuring the longevity and efficiency of equipment.
Key Functional Responsibilities
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Conduct predictive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and disruptions.
• Use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding skills for repair and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, replace or repair parts, and test and adjust machinery.
• Utilize hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Understand and adhere to maintenance standards and schedules.
• Maintain and repair spares, ensuring constant availability.
• Observe equipment for potential issues during preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform safety checks and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain orderly workspaces.
• Escalate non-compliance issues to team or group leader.
• Ensure policies, processes, and controls are in place for compliance.
• Prepare and update maintenance reports, KPIs, and documentation as per standards.
• Maintain organized maintenance records.
Functional Responsibilities
• Execute repairs and corrective actions during breakdowns; log updates in ERP, MES, or IoT platforms.
• Implement improvements to reduce MTTR, enhance MTBF, and reduce bottlenecks.
• Handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance in the Body Shop.
• Apply problem-solving for breakdown analysis and KPI improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• React quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain workplace safety and follow 5S standards.
• Develop and execute PM activities and schedules; verify and test equipment post-PM.
• Replace, repair, and forecast spare parts as needed.
• Adhere to and enforce company standards.
Skills
**Education:**
• Technical High School or Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
**Experience:**
• 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry is required.
Salary - Salary for this role is approximately 8000-9000 SAR, the salary depends upon the Last drawn and Years of experience.
