Job Overview: Environment, Health and Safety Supervisor

Acts as the primary Environment, Health and Safety focal point for the project, supporting management to address construction challenges and leading the execution of project and construction activities in accordance with corporate guidelines and standards.

  1. Manage, monitor, and advise on all matters related to Environment, Health, and Safety issues.
  2. Work with contractors, review their construction documents, and ensure implementation of all plans.
  3. Provide advisory support to project and construction teams in developing and improving EHS management systems, standards, and processes.
  4. Familiar with pipeline corridor and Royal Commission requirements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Understand and apply company and project-specific EHS requirements, regulatory requirements, and project deliverables.
  2. Possess at least 7 years of experience in construction activities.
  3. Develop plans such as EHS, Emergency Response, and Environment Management Plans, and monitor their implementation.
  4. Create and oversee plans to meet project objectives and targets.
  5. Coordinate with contractors on EHS issues and activities.
  6. Monitor and control EHS-related risks and conduct risk reviews.
  7. Develop and conduct EHS audits.
  8. Participate in site inspections focused on EHS practices and compliance.
  9. Engage in review meetings and report on EHS activities.
  10. Maintain EHS activity plans.
  11. Ensure incidents are reported, investigated, and corrective actions are taken.
  12. Contribute EHS input to project look-ahead plans and reports.
  13. Establish EHS programs and campaigns aligned with the project.
  14. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple contractors.
  15. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Essential Qualifications and Education
  1. At least 7 years of relevant construction experience.
  2. Certificate or Diploma in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH MS).
  3. Academic degree.
Preferred Qualifications and Education
  1. ISO Certifications, such as 45001 or 14001.
  2. Bachelor's Degree.
