As an EHS Professional at Siemens Energy, you will engage with a diverse team dedicated to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within the oil and gas sector. Your day will involve collaborating with project management and field teams to implement EHS standards, conduct site inspections, and lead safety initiatives that directly impact workplace safety and compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations meet local and international safety regulations and contribute to Siemens Energy's mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.

How You'll Make An Impact

1. Define, implement, and maintain EHS standards across Siemens Energy Middle East.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a workplace incident-free environment.
4. Lead safety training programs and campaigns to enhance EHS engagement at project sites.
5. Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up measures are in place.
6. Monitor and assess supplier EHS performance, ensuring alignment with company standards.

What You Bring

1. A degree in Engineering or a 3-year diploma in Health & Safety, with relevant certifications (NEBOSH, ISO Auditor).
2. Over 5 years of EHS experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in shutdown projects.
3. Strong knowledge of local regulations and international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
4. Proven ability to conduct safety inductions, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences on EHS matters.
6. A proactive approach to promoting a safety culture and continuous improvement in EHS practices.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization, including zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. We focus on decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
