Senior Sales Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Description

Provides pre-sales technical support for complex products, applications, and solutions. Collaborates with partners and sales teams to deliver optimal system solutions to customers. Uses industry and product knowledge to support sales presentations and product demonstrations. Develops processes for quick and thorough responses to Requests for Proposal. Assists in assessing customer needs and may prepare detailed specifications for product development and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Builds strong relationships with clients and develops network solutions that address business issues, partnering with Account Managers to drive revenue.
  • Engages directly with customers and partners, conducts discovery, designs solutions, develops proposals, and demonstrates solutions.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, emerging customer needs, and competitive solutions.
  • Possesses high technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving complex problems in a fast-paced industry.
Experience
  • At least 5 years in pre-sales engineering within enterprise, service provider, or similar networking/security environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper or equivalent solutions.
  • Experience in data center, cloud, LAN/WAN, security, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; advanced certifications preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Solid foundation in routing, switching, and security concepts (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Firewall, VPNs, Cloud, EVPN/VxLAN, SD-WAN, SDN/NFV).
  • Experience designing and operating large-scale network and security solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Juniper products, competitors, and market use cases.
  • Understanding of virtualization, VMWare, OpenStack, Contrail, VNF, containers.
  • DevOps experience with automation tools (Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with Linux OS (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
