Job description

This is a full-time, on-site System Administrator role with United Pharmaceuticals Company located in Jeddah.

The System Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as system administration, troubleshooting, technical support, network administration, and information technology management.

Role and Responsibilities

1- Install and configure hardware and software in production environment virtual and physical servers.

2- Deploy operating system requires updates & patches.

3- Ensure validity of licenses across IT servers and systems.

4- Perform Backup and restore databases and servers.

5- Data migration to New Hardware whenever needed.

6- Ability to extract and analyze system audit trails.

7- Granting users' system access to production systems

8- Ensure the network configuration and connections to production servers.

9- Implement security controls in all production servers

10- Validate Antivirus Databases definitions are up to date.

11- Monitors servers’ capacity and performance

12- Manage Active Directory, Exchange mail server, Email Gateway.

13- Contact service providers for technical support.

14- Conduct diagnostic investigations of systems errors and implement or recommend solutions or methodologies for resolution.

15- Review proposed systems software for compliance with applicable quality assurance standards before acquisition or implementation.

16- Implement policies and procedures for business continuance and disaster recovery plans.

17- Perform any additional tasks requested by the immediate Manager.

18- Follows policies and procedures and customer service rules

19- Report on all system failures and issues in a timely manner

20- Follow Incident Reporting and Change management policies for any system changes.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in (computer science, information technology, computer engineering, information systems).

Fluent in English language

Linux & Microsoft certificate.

A minimum of one year of work-related skills.

Training in OS (windows, Linux, AIX).

Technical Skills
