Job description

Key Job Responsibilities

In this crucial WHS position, you will report to the Country WHS Manager. Tasks will include:

  1. Conduct regular site visits to evaluate safety conditions and provide recommendations for operational improvements
  2. Carry out risk assessments and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and local safety procedures
  3. Monitor and analyze safety metrics, create reports, and review incident trends to identify areas requiring attention
  4. Support implementation of new safety measures and provide guidance on safety-related processes
  5. Ensure compliance with all applicable Amazon supply chain policies and local/regional regulations
  6. Lead safety discussions and participate in safety briefings
  7. Support incident investigations and ensure timely incident communication
  8. Analyze safety performance data to implement proactive improvement actions
  9. Support safety training completion and verify training effectiveness
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Background in operations, safety, or quality management
  • Experience working both independently and within a team
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders through presentations and written communications
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Engineering, or Science
