Job Description

Denodo is always looking for technical, passionate people to join our Customer Success team. We want a professional who will travel, consult, develop, train, and troubleshoot to enhance our clients’ journey around Data Virtualization.

Your mission: to help people realize their full potential through accelerated adoption and productive use of Denodo solutions.

In this role, you will employ a combination of high technical expertise and client management skills to conduct on-site and off-site consulting, product implementation, and solutions development in short or long-term engagements. You will be a critical point of contact for coordinating among Denodo, partners, and client teams.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

1. Obtain and maintain strong knowledge of the Denodo Platform, delivering technical pitches, including key features, benefits, services, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
2. Continuously learn new technologies and maintain an overview of modern industry trends.
3. Address technical questions regarding customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and product features.
4. Build and lead the development of custom deployments based on client requirements.
5. Provide feedback to Product Management, Sales, Support, and Development regarding client needs and issues.
6. Train and engage clients in the product architecture, configuration, and use of the Denodo Platform.
7. Promote knowledge sharing and best practices while managing deliverables and client expectations.
8. Establish credibility at all levels within the client organization and build problem-solving partnerships.
9. Provide technical consulting, training, and support.
10. Develop white papers, presentations, training materials, or documentation on related topics.

Desired Skills & Experience

1. BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in data management or analytics software.
3. Solid understanding of SQL and relational/analytical database management theory.
4. Experience in Java software development, especially in web and database fields.
5. Good knowledge of JDBC, XML, and Web Services APIs.
6. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
7. Active listening skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Curiosity and willingness to learn.
10. Creativity and innovation.
11. Team player with a positive attitude.

Non-Mandatory Skills (Nice to have)

1. Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
2. Experience with Big Data and NOSQL environments like Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.
3. Experience with caching technologies such as JCS.
4. Experience with Windows, Linux, and UNIX server environments.
5. Experience in software implementation and integration projects (ETL, Data Warehouse, etc.).
6. Experience integrating with packaged applications (relational databases, SAP, Oracle, BI tools, etc.).
7. Industry experience supporting mission-critical software components.
8. Experience attending customer meetings and writing technical documentation.
9. Foreign language skills are a plus.
