Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and implement all business requirements for the organization.

As a Director of Business Development, you are responsible for implementing all sales plans and activities to maximize the property's business opportunities. You will also lead the property's MICE business, support the implementation of segment sales strategies, and achieve segment revenue goals, overall property goals, and guest satisfaction.

The role serves as the main link between the property and the Area Sales Office, conducting all day-to-day sales activities focused on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of sales objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing the overall business requirements of the hotel's top-producing accounts through various sales and marketing actions.
  2. Conducting show-arounds of hotel facilities and services.
  3. Implementing and executing all sales action plans to promote hotel promotions, facilities, and activities.
  4. Handling leads received by the property along with the main account manager in the area sales office.
  5. Assisting in the execution of the property sales plan and participating with the property executive committee in the preparation of the yearly sales plan.
  6. Establishing and maintaining files of major accounts and keeping up-to-date information on competitors' rates, promotions, and strategies.
  7. Consolidating and finalizing the month-end sales report and forwarding it to the concerned parties.

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should hold a degree in sales with a minimum of two years of post-graduate work experience, ideally within the hotel industry. You must be computer literate, possess excellent presentation skills, and have highly sophisticated communication skills, both written and oral, with proficiency in English. Knowledge of additional languages will be an asset. You must be nationally and internationally mobile.
