Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct, professional nursing care to a specified patient population in inpatient or outpatient settings according to area of specialty.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Evaluate new and existing patients to determine treatment priority and appropriateness, including modifications.
- Administer prescribed medications, apply sterile dressings, perform phlebotomy, and monitor vital signs.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Operate medical devices and apparatus safely, manage alarms, and detect early signs of harm.
- Perform specialized nursing procedures tailored to the needs of specific patient populations.
- Supervise and guide nursing and support staff.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Supervise, coordinate, and deliver direct nursing care to patients.
- Ensure delivery of quality, compassionate, and ethical care.
- Provide education, counseling, and support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Perform nursing duties in line with facility policies, state regulations, and hospital rules.
- Ensure a safe environment, assess, and treat patient conditions collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Perform procedures such as injections and catheterizations.
- Assist in managing vascular access devices.
- Evaluate patient compliance and report test results.
- Engage in health promotion activities to prevent illness and promote health.
- Support nursing duties, including assisting with treatments and procedures.
- Work with medical devices and identify potential risks and alarms related to each specialty.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, including in-depth experience in the required specialty.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of Dataflow and Prometric systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
