Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct, professional nursing care to a specified patient population in inpatient or outpatient settings according to area of specialty.
  2. Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
  3. Evaluate new and existing patients to determine treatment priority and appropriateness, including modifications.
  4. Administer prescribed medications, apply sterile dressings, perform phlebotomy, and monitor vital signs.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  6. Operate medical devices and apparatus safely, manage alarms, and detect early signs of harm.
  7. Perform specialized nursing procedures tailored to the needs of specific patient populations.
  8. Supervise and guide nursing and support staff.
  9. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  10. Supervise, coordinate, and deliver direct nursing care to patients.
  11. Ensure delivery of quality, compassionate, and ethical care.
  12. Provide education, counseling, and support to patients and their families.
  13. Adhere to standards of care, policies, and procedures.
  14. Perform nursing duties in line with facility policies, state regulations, and hospital rules.
  15. Ensure a safe environment, assess, and treat patient conditions collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team.
  16. Perform procedures such as injections and catheterizations.
  17. Assist in managing vascular access devices.
  18. Evaluate patient compliance and report test results.
  19. Engage in health promotion activities to prevent illness and promote health.
  20. Support nursing duties, including assisting with treatments and procedures.
  21. Work with medical devices and identify potential risks and alarms related to each specialty.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, including in-depth experience in the required specialty.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Dataflow and Prometric systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
