Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair electric vehicle systems including battery packs, electric motors, power electronics, and charging systems.
  2. Operate advanced diagnostic tools and OBD software (Autel, Launch, Xentry) to identify and troubleshoot faults.
  3. Perform regular maintenance such as brake checks, suspension inspections, tire rotations, and fluid top-ups.
  4. Conduct safe and compliant inspections on high-voltage systems using proper PPE.
  5. Install, maintain, and test EV charging infrastructure (Level 1, Level 2, DC fast chargers).
  6. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals for various EV brands.
  7. Ensure high-quality service reporting and accurate documentation.
  8. Communicate clearly with supervisors and service advisors about timelines, parts, and potential risks.
  9. Provide roadside assistance for EV breakdowns and emergencies when required.
  10. Stay informed on the latest EV technologies, safety standards, and manufacturer-specific procedures.
  11. Maintain compliance with workshop safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proficient in advanced diagnostic tools and OBD systems (Xentry, Autel, Launch).
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-voltage battery systems and safety procedures.
  • Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues across multiple EV brands.
  • Ability to identify new technical problems and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently.
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts and handle emergency situations.
  • Experience with RIVIAN maintenance is a plus.
