An exciting opportunity is available for an Engineer, Process located in Jubail.

Position Summary:

The Process Engineer is responsible for the overall monitoring and enhancement of various plant operations.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Provide plant operations with technical inputs and support, including preparing different Heat & Material balance scenarios.
2. Evaluate plant processes and proposed design changes, considering environmental and economic factors.
3. Collaborate closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure optimal plant setup for maximum output and efficient operation.
4. Establish scale-up and scale-down processes, including appropriate modifications to equipment design and configuration.
5. Assess design, installation, and commissioning of new projects, monitor developments, and troubleshoot issues.
6. Perform process simulations, evaluate options for plant expansion or reconfiguration by developing and testing simulation models.
7. Conduct risk assessments, manage project costs and timelines, prepare process documentation and operating instructions, and develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality.
8. Optimize production by analyzing processes, troubleshooting manufacturing problems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and proposing technological improvements.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Familiarity with petrochemical processes, particularly Acrylates, Syn Gas, and Butanol processes.
