Job description

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all on-site electrical engineering activities for the NHC Al Fursan project. This role involves supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. The Site Electrical Engineer will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of electrical works on site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on site.


• Ensure that all electrical works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.


• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of electrical installations.


• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project components.


• Attend site meetings and provide technical input and updates on electrical engineering matters.


• Review and approve electrical materials, equipment, and systems for compliance with project requirements.


• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the quality and functionality of installed electrical systems.


• Plan and oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.


• Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.


• Minimum of 13 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on site supervision and management.


• Extensive experience in the construction or engineering sectors, preferably within a PMC.


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and materials.


• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
