Job description

A leading global consulting services company is looking for a Data Privacy Expert currently located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . This is a contract role for a major project located in Riyadh, KSA, for an initial period of 12 months, with a high probability of extension .

A successful candidate shall :

• Act as Advisor to Client to ensure compliance and adherence with KSA PDPL, NDMO, GDPR, and other data privacy laws;
• Act as Advisor to Client to help Data Privacy Officer influence data governance activities pertaining to the privacy laws and information security activities to ensure data protection measures are in place;
• Lead discovery workshops with other consultants and key stakeholders across various business units;
• Implement data privacy technology such as OneTrust, BigID or Securiti.ai;
• Perform Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and Privacy Gap Analysis in a fast-paced environment along with providing timely and practical recommendations to mitigate the identified gaps;
• Perform quality assurance on project deliverables (i.e. PIA report, Privacy Manual, Data Breach Management Manual, Privacy Management Program, etc.);
• Lead project presentation for client project team and other key stakeholders;
• Lead project management and client management in all project activities related to data privacy;
• Facilitate Data Privacy Training and Awareness;
• Participates in pre-engagement and business development activities;
• Lead scoping / discovery meeting with clients;
• Participate in the development of proposals (technical and commercial) and presentations to clients;
• Monitor of pursuits from identification to engagement conversion;
• Client Management all throughout the sales process.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of data privacy and protection experience designing and implementing data privacy capabilities;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience assessing or building programs in data privacy and protection, including strategy, governance, and analytics;
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Data Privacy and Security vendors, product capabilities, and solutions that focus on Data Protection and not limited to Data Loss Prevention, Rights Management, Data Classification, and Data Privacy;
• Familiar with the KSA PDPL, NDMO, GDPR standards;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bilingual or fluent in Arabic and English;
• Data privacy professional certification such as CIPP / E, CIPM, CIPT, ISO 27701;
• Security professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO 27001;
• Experience in leading business development and sales pipeline management process;
• Experience providing consulting services to Middle East based clients, specifically in the KSA and / or the UAE.
