Job Description

• Follow-up customers for the payment as per the agreed credit periods.
• Recording the cash collection receipts.
• Preparation of cash receipt vouchers and its recording in SAP.
• Coordinating closely with IPA follow-up team, collect all related IPA invoices and prepare the monthly, weekly revenue claim sheets.
• Maintain the IPA ledger and its recon with the IPA statement.
• Preparation and filling of vouchers. i.e. bank payment and cash payment.
• Raise POs and post the approved POs' vendor invoices to process the payment.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process payment for routine supplier and credit supplier by mode of cheque or online bank transfer.
• Process petty cash transactions, supporting documents and process daily petty cash payments.
• Record / Post all bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the updated creditors accounts and circulate the different reports required by various division/section.
• Prepare various schedules and reports for internal and external Auditors.
• Scrutinize Expense accounts, identify and clarify variances if any.
• Prepare the list of expense for which provision to be made for monthly closing.
• Analyze expenses and assess nature of expenses as current and prepayments.
• Ensure that all the month & year closing jobs are done in time with proper documentation.
• Preparation of relevant Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly schedules.
• Prepares various MIS reports as per the requirement in time.
• Prepare the funds position/cash flow projections & timely updating to concerned persons.
• Performs other duties as required.

Summary:

Maintains books of accounts as per the International Financial Reporting Standards. Ensures the timely preparation of the books of accounts without compromising on any aspects of documentation and control. To support the finance team in achieving the organizational objectives assigned to the team.

Qualification:

Educational Background

• Graduation or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.

Technical Qualification / Certification

• Should have working experience with ERP’s (preferably SAP).

• 5-8 years in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Analysis, etc.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint).
