Job description

Our client is a leading construction and contracting company in Saudi Arabia looking for an experienced Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the construction industry, expertise in Microsoft ERP software, and excellent proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with accounting principles.
• Manage accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure accurate project cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Maintain compliance with Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat, WHT, etc.).
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial transactions.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, specifically within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ERP software (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, or similar).
• Proficiency in financial reporting, cost control, and project accounting.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi financial regulations and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
