Job Description :
- Identify potential suppliers and vendors through research, networking, and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Generate purchase orders and review purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments to verify specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to track order status, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and manage procurement budgets and track procurement expenses to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and negotiation.
