Job description

Basic Function

The HSE Manager at Jadeer Company plays an instrumental role in establishing and upholding the standards for quality, health, safety, and environmental management within the organization. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure that the company's operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring the safety of our people, customers, and shareholders.

Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and oversee the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, best practices, and local legislation.
  2. Lead internal and external QHSE audits, coordinate with departments to ensure readiness and compliance, and address findings with corrective actions.
  3. Facilitate risk assessments and hazard identification processes across all operations, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize occupational health and safety risks.
  4. Design and deliver QHSE training programs to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
  5. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and compile detailed reports to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics, analyze data for improvements, and present findings to senior management.
  7. Support initiatives aimed at improving cost, quality, and service standards.
  8. Provide internal training to ensure adherence to QA standards.
  9. Lead investigation teams, ensuring proper follow-up and closure of issues.

Education And Qualification

Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or mechanical fields. Industry-related diplomas or certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are advantageous.

Professional Experience

At least 5 years of managerial experience in transportation and logistics.
