A leading company in the hospitality industry is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance department and ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards in guest satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, developing maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all resort facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained and fully operational. This role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance programs, managing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of technicians to maintain high operational efficiency while enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and manage the maintenance team to ensure efficient operations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all resort equipment and facilities.
Oversee the repair and upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance reports.
Manage the maintenance budget and optimize resource utilization.
Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance requests and guest concerns promptly.
Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Ensure Full compliance with local Fire Life and Safety laws and ensuring 3'rd party certifications and checks are in place.
- Full Compliance with the local EHS laws, Ensure adequate water quality, air quality and TSE Parameters are maintained at all the times.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Certifications:
EPA Certification for HVAC systems.
OSHA Safety Certification.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Capable of standing, walking, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including heat and cold.
