Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop HSE plans and environmental management programs to ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's Petroleum and Petrochemical Regulations (e.g., wastewater treatment, dust control).
  • Design safety facilities (e.g., temporary electrical systems, protective barriers) and promote cost-effective technology applications such as drone inspections and AI video monitoring.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to address violations (e.g., failure to wear PPE, improper machinery operation), document hazards, and track corrective measures to closure.
  • Assist supervisors in handling Saudization inspections by the Saudi Ministry of Labor, ensuring complete training records for local employees.
  • Develop bilingual (Arabic/English) training materials (e.g., short videos, illustrated guides) and conduct onboarding training and specialized courses (e.g., scaffolding assembly).
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure PPE complies with Saudi GSO standards, avoiding delays due to non-compliant imported products.
  • Maintain HSE databases, track KPIs (e.g., incident rates, training completion rates), and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Participate in incident investigations, draft technical analysis reports, and propose preventive measures (e.g., optimizing construction processes).

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years in HSE technical roles for engineering projects, with preference given to candidates with Saudi project experience (e.g., real estate, infrastructure, industrial plants).
  • Certifications: NEBOSH General Certificate, OSHA 10-Hour, or Saudi Aramco CSSP training certification.
  • Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, advanced Excel functions, and experience with local permit-to-work management software.
