DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a Vendor Management Team Lead to oversee the Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) team in Saudi Arabia. AVS offers a suite of services aimed at helping Amazon's strategic vendors grow and enhance customer experience by focusing on key retail levers such as selection, availability, operational efficiency, catalog quality, and marketing. The service is primarily delivered through Brand Specialists dedicated to specific vendors. Amazon aims to scale this service, improve business impact for vendors and categories, and increase vendor satisfaction.

As a Brand Specialist Team Lead, your role will be to deliver impact to a large group of strategic vendors through your team. Your main responsibilities include improving vendor performance across retail metrics, ensuring vendor satisfaction, and enhancing team productivity. Collaboration with Vendor Managers is essential to understand vendor needs and set appropriate goals. You will also engage with Category Leaders for strategic guidance and contribute to service improvements and innovation.

The ideal candidate is passionate about people management and development, highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, and experienced in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with Vendor Managers and retail functions to set priorities based on vendor needs.

  4. Lead a team of Brand Specialists managing multiple vendors and delivering business impact.
  5. Regularly audit metrics to improve vendor and employee experience.
  6. Drive adoption of tools and offshore processes to increase productivity.
  7. Identify skills needed within the team to address vendor issues.
  8. Develop team skillsets and allocate resources effectively.
  9. Mentor and grow team members into future talent for Amazon.
