Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Technical Architect role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at Environment Icon Company. The Technical Architect will be responsible for technical architecture, software development, solution architecture, integration, and enterprise architecture tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and develop architectural technical drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated fit-out packages.
2. Translate concept and schematic designs into fully detailed construction drawings.
3. Review design drawings to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications.
4. Coordinate with MEP, structural, and interior design teams to resolve clashes and integrate systems effectively.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to approved drawings and technical standards.
6. Support procurement and construction teams by resolving technical issues on-site.
7. Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and civil defense requirements.
8. Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors for technical clarifications.
9. Participate in client and consultant meetings, presenting technical solutions where needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field.
2. At least 4-6 years of experience specifically in the interior fit-out or construction sector.
3. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other technical design software.
4. Knowledge of joinery, finishing materials, and interior detailing is essential.
5. Familiarity with authority approval processes in KSA (e.g., Civil Defense, Municipality).
6. Strong technical knowledge of materials, construction methodologies, and shop drawing production.
7. Ability to read and coordinate MEP and structural drawings.
8. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
