Job summary

A leading company in the Riyadh region is seeking an experienced design reviewer to manage design processes across architecture and engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with building codes and sustainability standards while coordinating with various stakeholders. This role requires strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Revit, along with a solid understanding of local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience.

Job description

  • Manage end-to-end design review processes across architecture, interiors, and MEP disciplines for mixed-use developments.
  • Evaluate design deliverables (drawings, specs, reports) for compliance with project briefs, building codes, and sustainability standards.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools to assess technical accuracy and integration across disciplines.
  • Ensure designs align with LEED and Mostadam certification requirements, smart building protocols, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Development) and external consultants to ensure design quality and value engineering.
  • Lead and document design review workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders and authorities.
  • Supervise junior design reviewers and ensure timely submission of consolidated, QA/QC-reviewed reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the department's systems, standards, and training programs.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (Engineering in Architecture a plus).
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Revit, and design documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with local/international codes and authority regulations (SBC, LEED, Mostadam).
