Job Title: Procurement Manager

Salary: 20k SAR per month (Max)

Job Description

An exciting position has arisen to work for a large catering organization in Saudi Arabia as a Procurement Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Vendor management
2. Vendor negotiation
3. Contract management and design
4. Cost negotiation
5. Building relationships with suppliers
6. Management of the purchasing officers
7. Reporting management information regarding costs
8. Strategic sourcing
9. Buying
10. Visiting suppliers and assessing them
11. Dealing with the purchasing of perishable goods

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must currently be based in Saudi Arabia. Ideally, you will come from a food service, hotel, or catering background, with contacts within the field regarding food and perishable goods suppliers. You should possess:

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost
• Solid vendor management experience
• Experience reporting using Excel and Word
• Comfortable dealing with senior management
• Excellent English skills
• Ability to transfer visas within Saudi Arabia
