Job description

Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking an Associate Production Specialist. This role is responsible for operating, preparing (mixing), filling, packaging, and tote washing. Incumbents should be capable of performing any tasks within the production department, excluding material handling, mixing, and bulk receiving/shipping.

What You Will Do

  • Review instructions for preparing (mixing), filling, and packaging at the start of line runs. Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials. Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment. Seek assistance from supervisors if needed.
  • Set up the line according to instructions, making adjustments or consulting supervisors or maintenance techs as necessary.
  • Operate equipment such as fillers, labelers, pumps, filters, mixers, forklifts, cappers, tape machines, barcode printers, inkjet printers, hand tools, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to meet specifications.
  • Perform all line operations including loading containers, labeling, mixing, filling, capping, barcode generation, sampling, cleaning, and organization.
  • Participate in Kaizens, 5S, TPM, Loss Analysis, and other projects. Identify waste elimination opportunities.
  • Accurately document quality and productivity activities, including weight measurements and quality tests, either manually or digitally.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and production SOPs and work instructions.
  • Report safety issues, quality concerns, and machine defects promptly.
  • Complete packaging, mixing, and filling tasks to meet or exceed standards.
  • Assist with line changeovers, including water collection.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Position Details

Plant location: Dammam, KSA

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a chemical plant or warehouse
  • Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing)
  • Basic math skills including operations with fractions, percentages, and decimals
  • Forklift operation certification
  • No immigration sponsorship available
  • Ability to meet physical requirements

Physical Demands

  • Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Pass a drug screening and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training in hazardous materials safety and DOT regulations
  • Ability to interpret safety, quality, and productivity data
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with reaction chemistry, TPM, and continuous improvement systems
  • Attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork
